From the Kratzegg parking area, you’ll quickly climb into pine woods before reaching the alpine plateau of Obere Ulfaser Alm, a perfect place for a quick refreshment. The trail then winds along the mountain spine, offering a rugged and at times technical path. Keep your eyes open for grazing sheep and golden eagles. The descent into Ulfaseralm is gentle, passing flower-filled meadows. The final stretch returns via a forest path, completing an epic loop.
