Remote views and alpine charm
This loop begins at the quiet mountain pass Castrin and proceeds through forested paths toward Malga Castrin. As the forest clears, panoramic views of the Val di Non and Maddalene Mountains emerge. The trail then leads steeply up to Cima Luco, where hikers are greeted by stunning 360° alpine scenery. On descent, the route passes Malga Lauregno, a charming stop for refreshments before the return to the parking. It’s a full-day experience with varied terrain and few crowds.
